2012-12-30 Snowy Night Well mother nature took on my challenge and left us with a beautiful 4-5 inches of fresh snow. I have been down and out with a nasty respiratory virus and had nothing for todays daily, then it started to snow. Grabbed my camera and flash and shot this quickly out of the back door. Startled my neighbor who saw the flash and thought it was lightning out, lol!

I started this project on December 14, 2012 An eclectic mix of images, sometimes a project, more often just something that grabbed my attention and I thought worthy of a click. Each morning I select what I think was the best shot of the previous day to post. I never leave home without a camera in tow. I hope you enjoy life though my eyes over the next 365 days.

2013-01-02 - Today is brought to you by the letter "A"

Challenging myself to find everyday objects that resemble letters of the alphabet. Going to try and do this for a straight 26 days, however, there may be a day here or there that I sneak something else in. Wish me luck!

Today's object is an ordinary clamp shot in a light box and then used Nik Silver FX Pro to convert to B&W applying the preset Film Noir 2.

2013-01-01 Happy New Year

I wish everyone a very happy healthy New Year.

I saw this sign a few days ago and new it could potentially be a daily if nothing better happened. So I returned to it yesterday after sunset. A little creative editing to make the time read 12:00 (took this at 4:58pm, to get the blue sky) and change the address number to read 2013. No partying for me this year, still trying to get well. Asthma has flared up from the cold so now on prednisone along with inhalers to get my breathing under control.

Thank you all very much for the comments on Buddy's pic yesterday, truly appreciated.

2012-12-31 Our Buddy

On the upward swing from this nasty bug. Buddy and Tyson were dying to get out. I took them down to the fields opened the car door and let them out. I sat in the car and watched them frolic in the snow. I snapped this quick when Buddy came back to get in the car. He did not much appreciate having a camera in his face when he just wanted to get back in the car. The fresh white snow made for a nice backdrop though.

I never take self portraits, I prefer to stay behind the camera, lol! I was really tired yesterday after the holiday and fresh out of ideas or any inspiration, so today you get me :D

2012-12-26 - Family

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas day. We spent a quiet day at home, enjoyed a delicious prime rib dinner that my wonderful husband cooked up. Friends and family came over to visit, all in all a wonderful Christmas Day!

2012-12-25 - Merry Christmas!

This is a tapestry that hangs in the Vatican, Rome Italy. I took this shot when I visited my daughter who was studying in Florence. Posted it in my 2010 daily gallery and decided to bring it out again.
